Aloo Aloo Mosaru Gojju or Aloo raitha is the first ever dish that tried cooking as a bachelor. It is from this dish where my journey in kitchen started.
It is simple to make and compliments rice well. When watered down it can serve as side to Pulav.
- Curd 1 cup
- Potato 2 medium
- Onion 1 small
- Green chilli 2 medium
- Coriander leaves handful
- Urad dal
- Red chilli
- Curry leaves
- Clean potatoes and pressure cook them with salt for 2 whistles.
- Once the potatoes cool down, peal them and mash them roughly.
- Transfer it to a bowl, add chopped onions, green chilli and curd.
- Add pinch of Asafoetida and Mix well, adjust salt. Add chopped coriander leaves.
- Finish with tempering.
